Who You Work With

A systems builder with executive experience.

I have spent more than 25 years inside small and midsize businesses, growing from hands-on contributor to executive leader while building systems, leading across functions, and learning how work actually moves across a company.

The job has changed over time. The work has not: make the handoffs between finance, operations, HR, payroll, IT, and engineering easy to see, easy to run, and easy to trust.

How I Work

Now, next, later.

My project management style is simple: what matters now, what comes next, and what can wait. That keeps the handoffs between departments honest. It also keeps teams from hiding behind process when what they need is a decision.

AI, With Humans In The Loop

Automate the repeatable. Review the important.

AI should reduce drag without removing responsibility.

The work often starts by asking what a fully automated system would require, then deciding where human judgment still matters. That question is useful because it forces clarity. In most businesses, automation works best when software handles the routine work and people stay close to decisions that affect money, teams, or customers.

The Name

Midwest roots. Southern California palm trees. Two excellent dogs.

I grew up in the Midwest and moved to Southern California for the weather and the palm trees.

My husband and I are pet parents to Isaac and Henry, two wonderful dogs. Isaac inspired the Barking Lamb name because everyone keeps telling us he looks like a lamb.

Say the real thing plainly.

Build systems people can operate, audit, and trust.

Improve what already works.
